Code Ann. § 41-30-120","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this chapter, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:\n(1) \"Department\" means the Department of Employment and Workforce;\n(2) \"Director\" means the Director of the Office of Statewide Workforce Development;\n(3) \"Executive director\" means the Executive Director of the Department of Employment and Workforce;\n(4) \"Executive committee\" means the executive committee of the Coordinating Council for Workforce Development;\n(5) \"Unified State Plan\" or \"USP\" means the comprehensive statewide education and workforce development plan that provides a systemwide approach to streamline and unify efforts of entities involved in education and workforce development in the State;\n(6) \"Office of Statewide Workforce Development\" or \"OSWD\" means the Office of Statewide Workforce Development created in this chapter; and\n(7) \"Coordinating Council for Workforce Development\" or \"CCWD\" means the Coordinating Council for Workforce Development administered by the department.","path":["Title 41 - LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT","CHAPTER 30 Employment and Workforce - Workforce Development","ARTICLE 1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t41c030.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T07:26:44Z","sha256":"d224ff47a358b7b125b65b0c3e15fd2eb4e3e54823f27d565582cc29d6bedfd4","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-41-30-110","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-41-30-130"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
