Code Ann. § 41-6-20","heading":"Department of Disabilities and Special Needs; report.","body":"Beginning on January 1, 2023, and annually thereafter, the Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities shall submit a report to the General Assembly concerning the payment of a subminimum wage in South Carolina. The report shall:\n(1) identify all providers in this State that maintain a Section 14(c) certificate;\n(2) identify which of those providers pay a subminimum wage;\n(3) identify which of those providers used to pay a subminimum wage but have stopped that practice;\n(4) identify which of those providers that stopped paying a subminimum wage did so due to an increase in the federal minimum wage; and\n(5) provide data regarding the success in obtaining minimum wage employment of individuals with severe intellectual disabilities as compared to individuals with mild or moderate intellectual disabilities.","path":["Title 41 - LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT","CHAPTER 6 Subminimum Wages"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t41c006.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T07:25:34Z","sha256":"fefc75b7536a7f574458ae7a4be51d272e8ba0a2dbe44a900ee7a7c7ce9ede44","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-41-6-10","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-41-7-10"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
