Code Ann. § 46-21-655","heading":"Penalty.","body":"It is a misdemeanor, punishable by fine or imprisonment, in the discretion of the court, for a person selling seeds or plants in this State to use evidence of certification, such as a blue tag or the word \"certified\", or both, on a package of seeds or plants unless the seeds or plants are inspected and certified as provided for in this article or by a similar legally constituted agency of another state or foreign country.
