Code Ann. § 47-4-100","heading":"Penalty for illegal transportation of livestock or poultry; civil liability.","body":"(A) A person transporting livestock or poultry, or both, in violation of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be punished in accordance with Section 47-4-130.\n(B) A person transporting livestock or poultry, or both, in violation of this title is liable in a civil action to a person injured for the full amount of damages that may result for a violation of this chapter.
