Code Ann. § 48-23-50","heading":"Appointment, qualifications, and duties of State Forester.","body":"The Commission shall appoint and employ a State Forester, who shall be a technically trained forester with at least two years' experience in technical, practical and administrative work, and shall fix his compensation. The State Forester shall perform all such duties as shall be directed by the Commission and shall be charged with the direction of all matters relative to forestry as authorized by the provisions of SECTIONS 48-23-60 to 48-23-90, subject, however, to the supervision and control of the Commission.
