Code Ann. § 5-21-320","heading":"Declaration of result of election; effect when filed.","body":"Upon the receipt of the returns of the election the municipal council shall by resolution declare the results thereof. It may then provide for the filing of a certified copy of such resolution declaring the results of the election in the office of the clerk of court for the county wherein the municipality is located.
