Code Ann. § 50-11-150","heading":"Small game bag limits.","body":"(A) For purposes of this section a \"day\" means the twenty-four hours between one hour before sunrise one day and one hour before sunrise the following day. It is a measure of time for the purposes of setting a bag limit only. It is unlawful to exceed the small game bag limits as follows:\n(1) Game Zone 1:\n(a) rabbit: five per day;\n(b) squirrel: ten per day;\n(c) raccoon: three per party per day;\n(d) quail: twelve per day;\n(e) grouse: three per day.\n(2) Game Zones 2 through 4:\n(a) rabbit: five per day;\n(b) squirrel: ten per day;\n(c) raccoon: three per party per day;\n(d) quail: twelve per day.\n(B) Except as provided in this section, there is no limit on small game animals.","path":["Title 50 - FISH, GAME AND WATERCRAFT","CHAPTER 11 Protection of Game","ARTICLE 2 Small Game"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t50c011.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T07:47:34Z","sha256":"6ff0259523819e9b8109245a5d031d1ad8ee8fbd05f0a8d37974dd229ca76e84","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-50-11-140","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-50-11-160"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
