Code Ann. § 50-11-25","heading":"Prohibition on taking migratory waterfowl from certain blinds or positions; construction and use of blinds; penalties.","body":"(A) It is unlawful to take migratory waterfowl from blinds or positions where the floor level of the blind or the position is:\n(1) more than ten feet above surface level in or around freshwater; or\n(2) more than five feet above the mean high water in or around saltwater.\n(B) A blind on public lands or waters must be constructed from biodegradable materials.\n(C) Once vacated, a blind on public lands or waters may be used by persons on a \"first come, first served\" basis.\n(D) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than two hundred dollars or imprisoned not more than thirty days.","path":["Title 50 - FISH, GAME AND WATERCRAFT","CHAPTER 11 Protection of Game","ARTICLE 1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t50c011.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T07:47:34Z","sha256":"b2b097c8183be69837d748f9ff97d8fe82aeb1c5f357cdc08692c32839137e96","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-50-11-24","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-50-11-26"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
