Code Ann. § 50-5-735","heading":"Night trawling; finfish exception.","body":"(A) Except as provided in this section it is unlawful to trawl at night. Night as used in this section means:\n(1) from April 1 through August 31 inclusive: 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following day, local time; and\n(2) from September 1 through October 31 inclusive: 8:00 p.m to 6:00 a.m. the following day, local time; and\n(3) from November 1 through March 31 inclusive: 7:00 p.m to 6:00 a.m. the following day, local time.\n(B) The department may grant permits authorizing night trawling for finfish.","path":["Title 50 - FISH, GAME AND WATERCRAFT","CHAPTER 5 Marine Resources Act","ARTICLE 7 Trawling"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t50c005.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T07:47:24Z","sha256":"98646136e51498d7ce80af2694b42b316ab244a78ca00e263de51f6bce0cd383","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-50-5-730","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-50-5-740"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
