Code Ann. § 51-18-118","heading":"Donations.","body":"The trust is authorized to receive and dispose of donations of real and personal property. In furtherance of this section the commission may:\n(1) receive donations of real and personal property including, but not limited to, land, houses, stocks, and bonds;\n(2) on its own or by its agent, sell donated property and deposit any proceeds to the Heritage Land Trust Fund for use in accordance with the purposes established in this chapter;\n(3) establish minimum acceptable prices for disposition of donated property;\n(4) trade donated property for property of equal value;\n(5) promote donations to the program through advertising; or\n(6) decline donations for any reason.","path":["Title 51 - PARKS, RECREATION, AND TOURISM","CHAPTER 18 War Between the States Heritage Trust Program"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t51c018.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T07:49:19Z","sha256":"b0a1cb9dc04308594bb69fa6cfbf23556ce765cff610d07596ec923fd9dfb43a","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-51-18-115","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-51-18-120"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
