Code Ann. § 58-17-1320","heading":"Consent of Office of Regulatory Staff to one railroad crossing another at same grade.","body":"A railroad shall not be constructed to cross another railroad at the same level or across navigable or tidewaters without the consent, in writing, of the Office of Regulatory Staff, in the manner as the Office of Regulatory Staff prescribes. It is unlawful for any corporation to construct a branch or extension or otherwise to take any proceedings contemplating a new crossing of one railroad with another, at the same level, unless the crossing has been approved, in advance and in writing, by the Office of Regulatory Staff. Preliminary approval of any crossing plan is subject to revision by the Office of Regulatory Staff.
