Code Ann. § 58-23-520","heading":"Information which shall be furnished in applications for class A and B certificates.","body":"In such application, beside the other matters by law prescribed, the applicant for a certificate A or B for passenger vehicles shall state the following:\n(1) The seating capacity of the vehicle;\n(2) The route on which the motor vehicle is to be used;\n(3) Whether reserve or substitute vehicles are maintained by the applicant to be used only in emergencies and if so the number of such reserve and substitute vehicles and a complete description of each;\n(4) The length of route in miles on improved public highways in this State;\n(5) The weight of the vehicle when empty; and\n(6) The schedule under which the vehicle shall operate during the ensuing year.\nBut an applicant for a certificate B will not be required to furnish a schedule with this application.","path":["Title 58 - PUBLIC UTILITIES, SERVICES AND CARRIERS","CHAPTER 23 Motor Vehicle Carriers","ARTICLE 5 Annual Applications and License Fees"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t58c023.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T07:56:44Z","sha256":"adab23343fc06f7c5d0cfd14e0f82b93e1589d7c2c64420fbf44fbbae971622e","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-58-23-510","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-58-23-530-to-58-23-550"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
