Code Ann. § 59-112-90","heading":"Penalties for willful misrepresentations.","body":"Where it appears to the satisfaction of officials charged with administration of these provisions that a person has gained domiciliary status improperly by making or presenting willful misrepresentations of fact, such persons shall be charged tuition and fees past due and unpaid at the out-of-state rate, plus interest at a rate of eight percent per annum, plus a penalty amounting to twenty-five percent of the out-of-state rate for one semester; and until these charges have been paid no such student shall be allowed to receive transcripts or graduate from any State Institution.","path":["Title 59 - EDUCATION","CHAPTER 112 Determination of Rates of Tuition and Fees"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t59c112.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T08:03:44Z","sha256":"37f87f15def034330de9a7e57cb038aed7f4a3cd89ec564935f0c24ae1c808f9","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-59-112-80","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-59-112-100"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
