Code Ann. § 59-53-710","heading":"Committee as a body politic and corporate; membership.","body":"The area committee for the Florence-Darlington Technical College is a body politic and corporate consisting of ten members who must be qualified electors of Darlington or Florence Counties; with five members from each county. The appointment of the committee members must be made by the Governor upon the recommendation of a majority of the legislative delegation, including the Senator, from the county of which the appointee is a resident for terms of three years and until their successors are appointed and qualify.
