Code Ann. § 61-6-4390","heading":"Actions to recover possession of chattel.","body":"Before sale of a chattel under Section 61-6-4370, the owner, any person indebted or liable for the purchase price of the chattel, and any lienholder may bring an action to recover possession of the chattel or to recover the value of his interest in the property from the proceeds of the sale; in a proceeding under this section, the sheriff must be made a party defendant.
