Code Ann. § 9-8-100","heading":"Repayment of contributions and interest upon cessation of membership.","body":"Should a member cease to be a member of the System, for reasons other than death or retirement, he shall be paid promptly as feasible after his request, but in no event later than six months after the request, the amount of his accumulated contributions as of the date of payment.
