{"data":{"id":"us-sd/sdcl-1-16g-1.3","jurisdiction":"us-sd","citation":"SDCL § 1-16G-1.3","heading":"Nonvoting members of Board of Economic Development.","body":"In addition to the members of the Board of Economic Development appointed pursuant to § 1-16G-1, four nonvoting members shall be appointed to the board by the Legislature as follows:\n(1) The majority leader of the Senate shall appoint one member of the Senate;\n(2) The minority leader of the Senate shall appoint one member of the Senate;\n(3) The majority leader of the House of Representatives shall appoint one member of the House of Representatives; and\n(4) The minority leader of the House of Representatives shall appoint one member of the House of Representatives.\nThe members shall be appointed to the board for a term of two years before the close of each regular session of the Legislature. If there is a vacancy, the vacancy shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment.","path":["TITLE 1. STATE AFFAIRS AND GOVERNMENT","CHAPTER 1-16G.
