The following levels of EMTs are included: emergency medical technician-ambulance (EMT-A); emergency medical technician-intermediate (EMT-I); emergency medical technician-special skills (EMT-SS); and emergency medical technician-paramedic (EMT-P);\n(3) \"Firefighter,\" a person who is a member of a paid or volunteer fire department that is a part of or administered by, this state, any political subdivision of this state, or a rural fire protection district;\n(4) \"Survivor,\" a child under the age of twenty-one of a firefighter or certified law enforcement officer or emergency medical technician at the time of the firefighter's or peace officer's or EMT's death.","path":["TITLE 13.
