{"data":{"id":"us-sd/sdcl-32-41-5","jurisdiction":"us-sd","citation":"SDCL § 32-41-5","heading":"Accident involving fully autonomous vehicles--Owner duties.","body":"In the event of an accident involving a fully autonomous vehicle:\n(1) The fully autonomous vehicle must remain on the scene of the crash as required by chapter 32-34;\n(2) The owner of the fully autonomous vehicle, or a person on behalf of the vehicle owner, shall report any crashes or collisions consistent with chapter 32-34; and\n(3) The vehicle's failure to remain at the scene of the accident or to otherwise operate in compliance with the requirements of chapter 32-34 must be imputed to the owner of the vehicle, who may be charged and convicted of a violation of chapter 32-34.","path":["TITLE 32.
