The following physical therapy services, however, shall only be performed by a physical therapist:\n(1) Interpretation of referrals;\n(2) Initial evaluation, including problem identification;\n(3) Development of a plan of care which is based on the initial evaluation and which includes the physical therapy treatment goals;\n(4) Interpretation of tests and measurements;\n(5) Joint assessment and mobilization;\n(6) Determination of the appropriate portions of the program to be delegated;\n(7) Delegation and instruction of the services to be rendered by the physical therapist assistant including specific treatment program, precautions, special problems, or contraindicated procedures;\n(8) Timely review of treatment documentation and reevaluation of the patient, treatment goals, and revision of the plan of care when indicated;\n(9) Development of a patient's home program and discharge evaluation, and termination of care, or both; and\n(10) Accountability for documentation of physical therapy treatment and dissemination of written and oral reports.","path":["TITLE 36.
