{"data":{"id":"us-sd/sdcl-36-4a-1","jurisdiction":"us-sd","citation":"SDCL § 36-4A-1","heading":"Definitions.","body":"Terms as used in this chapter mean:\n(1) \"Board,\" the State Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners;\n(2) \"Collaboration,\" the consultation with, or referral to, an appropriate physician or other licensed health care provider by a physician assistant, as indicated by:\n(a) The patient's condition;\n(b) The education, competencies, and experience of the physician assistant; and\n(c) The standard of care; and\n(3) \"Physician assistant,\" a health care provider who meets the qualifications set forth in this chapter and is licensed by the board.","path":["TITLE 36.
