The office shall:\n(1) Serve as the sole state apprenticeship agency in the state;\n(2) Engage in outreach and education to promote registered apprenticeship programs as a workforce development tool;\n(3) Establish standards for registered apprenticeship programs in the state; and\n(4) Resolve disputes between parties to an apprenticeship agreement.\nThe office is administered by the secretary of the department.\nCommission Note: This section becomes effective, per SL 2026, ch 204, § 4, \"upon the date the United States Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship formally recognizes the state apprenticeship agency established by this [chapter].
