The term \"position\" does not include membership on any municipal board, commission, or committee, if the ordinance or resolution establishing the board, commission, or committee specifically includes the elected officer in the membership of the board.\nAn elected officer is not disqualified from holding office in any municipality as a result of holding, or being the spouse of an individual holding, any alcoholic beverage license, pursuant to chapter 35-4.
