If a petition is filed on or after January first prior to the regular municipal election and within sufficient time to comply with the provisions of § 9-13-14, the question must be submitted at that election.\nA special election must be conducted pursuant to §§ 9-20-12 to 9-20-14, inclusive, and §§ 9-20-16 and 9-20-17, and must be under the charge of the municipal finance officer.","path":["TITLE 9.
