Code Ann. § 13-14-203","heading":"Purpose","body":"A program may be established by this state to build local capacity of community-based organizations to address any or a combination of the following:\n(1) Housing needs of people with low or moderate incomes, for home ownership and affordable rental housing, including housing development for the elderly and persons with a disability;\n(2) Employment needs of people with low or moderate incomes including job placement with attendant support, small business and entrepreneurship development, and for-profit business development by nonprofit community-based development organizations;\n(3) Social service program needs incorporated as a component of community economic development strategies; and\n(4) Communications technology to build a network to exchange information and provide technical assistance in the field of community-based economic development.","path":["TN Code","Title 13","Chapter 14"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"0140da9b7c74dac81e022c6232e368b58f408f8a3b35a5a85ee1df76771f7ca9","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-13-14-202","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-13-14-204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
