Code Ann. § 13-4-402","heading":"Ordinance requirements","body":"An ordinance creating a voluntary attainable housing incentive program enacted by the chief legislative body of a municipality must contain, at a minimum, the following:\n(1) A definition of attainable housing for the purposes of the program;\n(2) The types of multi-family facilities, buildings, and structures eligible for the program;\n(3) The geographic areas of the municipality where multi-family facilities, buildings, and structures eligible for the program may be constructed or rented;\n(4) Any special exceptions or conditional uses included in the municipality's zoning ordinance that apply to attainable multi-family housing projects;\n(5) Any other municipal incentives available to property owners who are approved for participation in the municipality's program; and\n(6) The process that a property owner must follow to provide notice of interest for the voluntary program, including the convening of a pre-application conference, and the process for submitting a completed application as set forth in § 13-4-403 .","path":["TN Code","Title 13","Chapter 4"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"8ee89cc989baa2f31640be868d4de11cba815285ee1207b36cd171080fb0764a","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-13-4-401","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-13-4-403"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
