Code Ann. § 29-5-115","heading":"Modification of award","body":"The court is empowered, on motion of either party, to correct or modify the award:\n(1) Where there is manifest a miscalculation of figures, or a mistake in the description of any person, thing or property referred to in the award;\n(2) Where there has been covered in the award a matter not submitted, if not merely incident, not affecting the merits of matters submitted;\n(3) Where the award is defective or imperfect in a matter of form not affecting the merits; and\n(4) To effect the true and just intent thereof.\nCode 1932, § 9378; T.C.A.
