Code Ann. § 3-18-102","heading":"Chapter definitions","body":"As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:\n(1) \"Alternate delegate\" means an individual elected as an alternate delegate as provided by this chapter;\n(2) \"Article V convention\" means a convention for proposing amendments to the Constitution of the United States called for by the states under Article V of the Constitution of the United States;\n(3) \"Delegate\" means an individual elected as provided by this chapter to represent Tennessee at an Article V convention;\n(4) \"House of representatives\" means the house of representatives of the general assembly;\n(5) \"Paired delegate\" means the delegate with whom an alternate delegate is paired as provided by this chapter; and\n(6) \"Senate\" means the senate of the general assembly.","path":["TN Code","Title 3","Chapter 18"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"e026d88309f138e494a08a55ba00e080be584a1ff0165c2258721930f489cf49","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-3-18-101","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-3-18-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
