Code Ann. § 35-15-110","heading":"Others treated as qualified beneficiaries","body":"(a) A charitable organization expressly designated to receive distributions under the terms of a charitable trust has the rights of a qualified beneficiary under this chapter, if the charitable organization, on the date the charitable organization's qualification is being determined, would be a qualified beneficiary under this chapter if such charitable organization were an individual beneficiary.\n(b) The attorney general and reporter has the rights of a qualified beneficiary with respect to a charitable trust having its principal place of administration in this state if all of the interests in the trust that are for a charitable purpose, in the aggregate, on the date the attorney general and reporter's qualification is being determined, would cause an individual beneficiary to be a qualified beneficiary under this chapter if all of such interests were for the benefit of an individual beneficiary instead of for charitable purposes.","path":["TN Code","Title 35","Chapter 15"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"89f19e25735a57c05c28646138f1098488d5d6cc6ccca1c5c2037ea72d703d5e","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-35-15-109","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-35-15-1101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
