Code Ann. § 36-5-804","heading":"Administrative orders to direct additional payments to reduce arrearages","body":"(a) For the purpose of securing overdue support, the commissioner, or the commissioner's duly authorized representatives or the department's Title IV-D contractor, shall have the authority to enter an administrative order to add an amount to the monthly support order which will reduce the arrearage by payment of a reasonable amount toward the reduction of the arrearage over a reasonable period of time.\n(b) A copy of the administrative order issued pursuant to this section shall be sent to the clerk of the court which issued the original order and the administrative order shall be entered in the court record.","path":["TN Code","Title 36","Chapter 5"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"0e070d3868c9218017d1a0b8342f746cf8aeb5a2adbcd2d84efc897f933dbc57","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-36-5-803","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-36-5-805"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
