Code Ann. § 37-5-133","heading":"Medical or full-time school enrollment verification","body":"By July 1, 2022, and every year thereafter, the department of children's services shall require any person receiving federal or state-funded adoption assistance from the department for adopting a child to provide the department with verification from the adopted child's current medical or mental health professional provider or verification of full-time school enrollment from the school the child attends. The medical or full-time school enrollment verification shall consist of a form or forms developed by the department, but must not require any records from those providing the verification.
