Code Ann. § 39-17-602","heading":"Sales to persons under 18 years of age","body":"(a) It is an offense for any person, including a state lottery retailer, to sell a state lottery ticket or share to any person under eighteen (18) years of age.\n(b) It is an offense for a state lottery retailer to allow a person under eighteen (18) years of age to purchase a state lottery ticket or share from an electronic or mechanical device.\n(c) It is an offense for a state lottery retailer to allow a person under eighteen (18) years of age to play any state lottery game.\n(d) It is an offense for a state lottery retailer to redeem a state lottery ticket or share for any person under eighteen (18) years of age.\n(e) A person's first violation of this section is a Class B misdemeanor.
