Code Ann. § 39-17-909","heading":"Offense of providing location for minors to engage in public indecency","body":"(a) It is an offense for a person eighteen (18) years of age or older to knowingly promote or organize a gathering of two (2) or more minors in a public place, as defined in § 39-13-511 , with the intent to provide a location for said minors to engage in public indecency as defined in § 39-13-511 .\n(b) A violation of subsection (a) is a Class A misdemeanor.\n(c) Any personal property used in the commission of a violation of this section is, upon conviction, subject to judicial forfeiture as provided in title 39, chapter 11, part 7.\n(d) Nothing in this section shall deprive a court of any authority to suspend or cancel a license, declare the establishment a nuisance or impose costs and other monetary obligations if specifically authorized by law.\n(e) For purposes of this section \"public area on the property of that business or retail establishment\" means a public place as defined in § 39-13-511 .","path":["TN Code","Title 39","Chapter 17"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"359a94c48386b2addd18d78b5c4f4933082f7320424c2105f73fd79ffaefc93d","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-39-17-908","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-39-17-910"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
