Code Ann. § 40-38-113","heading":"Information required to be provided to victim by law enforcement agencies","body":"Law enforcement agencies shall provide notice of the following information to any victim of crime:\n(1) The victim's rights under the Tennessee Constitution, Article I, § 35, to be free from intimidation, harassment and abuse throughout the criminal justice system;\n(2) The availability, if any, of crisis intervention services and emergency and medical services;\n(3) The name of the law enforcement agency and telephone number;\n(4) In cases of domestic violence, the procedures and resources available for protection of the victim;\n(5) The names and telephone numbers of public and private victim assistance programs, including the state criminal injuries compensation program and programs that provide counseling, treatment and other support services; and\n(6) The procedural steps involved in a criminal prosecution.","path":["TN Code","Title 40","Chapter 38"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"cd336e0d841512e240314f44f918f7b5ce82e5928865609fd6619ed73e9c1489","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-40-38-112","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-40-38-114"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
