Code Ann. § 41-23-104","heading":"Notice of proposed transfer - District attorney general","body":"Before initiating the transfer of any inmate to an institution in another state under the provisions of the Interstate Corrections Compact, codified in § 41-23-102 , the commissioner of correction or the commissioner's delegate shall give notice of the proposed transfer to the district attorney general of the judicial district in which the inmate was convicted.
