Code Ann. § 43-10-105","heading":"Label requirements - Treated seeds","body":"All seed named and treated as defined in this part (for which a separate label may be used) shall be labeled to show the following information:\n(1) A word or statement indicating that the seed has been treated;\n(2) The commonly accepted coined, chemical or abbreviated chemical (generic) name of the applied substance or description of the process used;\n(3) If the substance in the amount present with the seed is harmful to human or other vertebrate animals, a caution statement such as \"Do not use for food, feed, or oil purposes.\" The caution for mercurials and similarly toxic substances shall be a poison statement or symbol; and\n(4) If the seed is treated with an inoculant, the date beyond which the inoculant is not to be considered effective (date of expiration).","path":["TN Code","Title 43","Chapter 10"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"80d639a41e65c993201864c0d76e22e8de516fbbcee332125b74235902917e8e","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-43-10-104","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-43-10-106"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
