Code Ann. § 44-10-206","heading":"Prohibited acts","body":"The following actions are prohibited:\n(1) Any person acting as a livestock dealer without a valid license issued by the commissioner;\n(2) Failure to maintain records as required by the commissioner, including the names and addresses of sellers and buyers of livestock;\n(3) Failure to provide access to all records required of such licensee by the commissioner;\n(4) Buying or selling livestock under an assumed name or address. All livestock sales shall be evidenced by a written bona fide name and address of buyer and seller;\n(5) Violation of any valid rule, regulation or statute governing livestock disease control;\n(6) Failure to make payment to a buyer or seller, or making such payment with insufficient funds; and\n(7) Failure to keep current bond requirements pursuant to 9 C.F.R. § 201, et seq.","path":["TN Code","Title 44","Chapter 10"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"f3a1ebb2a6b96413887e72f8c71177bce4b57ecc1ebf541cb65c5e11e06db6f8","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-44-10-205","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-44-10-207"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
