Code Ann. § 45-1-109","heading":"Oaths of office","body":"(a) The commissioner shall, within fifteen (15) days from the time of notice of the appointment, take and subscribe to the constitutional oath of office.\n(b) In addition, the commissioner, examiners and other employees, before entering upon discharge of their duties, shall take and subscribe to an oath to faithfully and impartially perform the duties of their respective offices and to keep secret all information acquired by them in the discharge of their duties except as may be otherwise required by this chapter and chapter 2 of this title or otherwise by law. Willful violation of this oath is declared to be a criminal offense.\n(c) The oath of the commissioner shall be filed with the secretary of state.
