Code Ann. § 45-2-220","heading":"Organization as a limited liability company - Rules and regulations - Applicability of limited liability company laws","body":"(a) Subject to the requirements and restrictions of this chapter, including, but not limited to, deposit insurance requirements where applicable, a bank or trust company may organize as a limited liability company pursuant to title 48, chapters 201-249.\n(b) The department shall have the authority to promulgate rules and regulations specifying the conditions under which a bank or trust company may organize as a limited liability company.\n(c) To the extent title 48, chapters 201-249 is consistent with and not in conflict with this chapter and the rules and regulations of the department, title 48, chapters 201-249 shall apply to a bank or trust company that has organized as a limited liability company.","path":["TN Code","Title 45","Chapter 2"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"f3d04d3c4b093e9fb381971786c1bc13b68db3402b77202f3fbef01f85635ded","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-45-2-219","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-45-2-2201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
