Code Ann. § 47-17-105","heading":"Effect of issuance of settlement agreement release","body":"Upon the issuance of a declaration of a statewide opioid settlement agreement release by the attorney general and reporter pursuant to § 20-13-203 , a governmental entity shall not have the authority to assert, bring, or attempt to enforce a released claim against a released entity in any legal proceeding. Any pending or future litigation brought by a governmental entity asserting released claims against released entities shall be dismissed with prejudice.
