Code Ann. § 47-18-5510","heading":"Timing of certificate of registration","body":"(a) The administrator shall approve or deny an initial registration as a provider within one hundred twenty (120) days after an application is filed. In connection with a request pursuant to § 47-18-5506(19) for additional information, the administrator may extend the one hundred twenty-day period for not more than sixty (60) days. Within seven (7) days after denying an application, the administrator, in a record, shall inform the applicant of the reasons for the denial.\n(b) If the administrator does not act on an application within the time prescribed in subsection (a), the applicant may appeal and request a hearing pursuant to the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5, part 3.\n(c) Subject to §§ 47-18-5511(d) and 47-18-5534 , a registration as a provider is valid for one (1) year.","path":["TN Code","Title 47","Chapter 18"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"dfe909a5193afd6904c0c5ccada9d2c77fb65c9653c70eb2578f531e2c64a614","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-47-18-5509","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-47-18-5511"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
