Code Ann. § 47-18-5512","heading":"Registration in another state","body":"If a provider holds a license or certificate of registration in another state authorizing it to provide debt-management services, the provider may submit a copy of that license or certificate and the application for it instead of an application in the form prescribed by § 47-18-5505(a) , § 47-18-5506 or § 47-18-5511(b) . The administrator shall accept the application and the license or certificate from the other state as an application for registration as a provider or for renewal of registration as a provider, as appropriate, in this state if:\n(1) The application in the other state contains information substantially similar to or more comprehensive than that required in an application submitted in this state;\n(2) The applicant provides the information required by § 47-18-5506(1), (3), (10), (12) and (13) ; and\n(3) The applicant, under oath, certifies that the information contained in the application is current or, to the extent it is not current, supplements the application to make the information current.","path":["TN Code","Title 47","Chapter 18"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"90faeeb41979aac0a307f0bc3c5167e086e34794f70626a8c162f853319a3fee","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-47-18-5511","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-47-18-5513"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
