Code Ann. § 47-25-1909","heading":"Civil liability for failure to repurchase - Remedies","body":"(a) If any supplier fails or refuses to repurchase and pay the dealer for any inventory covered under this part within sixty (60) days after shipment of the inventory, the supplier shall be civilly liable for one hundred percent (100%) of the current net price of the inventory, plus any freight charges paid by the dealer, the dealer's attorney fees, court costs and interest on the current net price computed at the legal interest rate from the sixty-first day after date of shipment.\n(b) A dealer may bring an action for civil damages in a court of competent jurisdiction against any supplier found violating any of the provisions of this part, and may recover damages sustained as a consequence of the supplier's violations, together with all costs and attorneys' fees.\n(c) The dealer shall be entitled to injunctive relief against unlawful termination, cancellation, nonrenewal or substantial change of competitive circumstances of the retail agreement.\n(d) The remedies in this section are in addition to any other remedies permitted by law.","path":["TN Code","Title 47","Chapter 25"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-17","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:51:56Z","sha256":"26e4ccaed7f579c0809dd444078221b4a14f6cd92761e7343024c1b76f3c1d67","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-47-25-1908","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-47-25-1910","notices":[{"id":"open-us-law","title":"Open US Law compilation","text":"Compilation CC BY 4.0, Open US Law (Vaquill AI).
