Code Ann. § 49-7-1303","heading":"Part definitions","body":"As used in this part:\n(1) \"Military-affiliated\" means active-duty military personnel, reservists, members of the national guard, and reserve officer training corps program cadets;\n(2) \"THEC\" means the Tennessee higher education commission;\n(3) \"Veteran\" means a former member of the armed forces of the United States, or a former or current member of a reserve or Tennessee national guard unit who was called into active military service of the United States, as defined in § 58-1-102 ; and\n(4) \"Veterans education transition support campus\" or \"VETS campus\" means a campus of a public or private nonprofit institution of higher education that has demonstrated educational support for veterans and has been designated by THEC under this part as a campus supportive of veterans.","path":["TN Code","Title 49","Chapter 7"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"f7c2350e1985b1c0c2fee7fcda82cc33f4e574246c1e25542e17a5099bad6675","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-49-7-1302","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-49-7-1304"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
