Code Ann. § 54-20-123","heading":"Applicability of part","body":"(a) All provisions of this part, except § 54-20-113 , shall apply to automotive dismantlers and recyclers, as defined in § 55-17-102 , that are licensed pursuant to §§ 55-17-109(b) and 55-17-112 .\n(b) It is the express legislative intent that this part not include a city street unless the city street is also a state or federal highway.\n(c) This part shall not apply to any solid waste processing facility or disposal facility or site that is registered in accordance with § 68-211-106 .\n(d) Any person who operates an established place of business licensed pursuant to § 55-17-102 to sell used cars or parts and engages in the business of automotive dismantling or recycling, as defined in § 55-17-102 , without the license required pursuant to § 55-17-109(b) shall be considered in violation of this part.","path":["TN Code","Title 54","Chapter 20"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"69fe505bd925d5718ae711ca3096b895829e55322b998d7d3453aa7ec6fec41e","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-54-20-122","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-54-20-124"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
