Code Ann. § 54-20-205","heading":"Enforcement of provisions - Violation a misdemeanor","body":"(a) Any citizen of this state may obtain a warrant for the arrest of anyone violating this part, but it is declared to be a specific duty for the members of the Tennessee highway patrol to enforce this part.\n(b) A person violating any provision of this part commits a Class C misdemeanor.\n(c) Each day's subsequent violation constitutes a separate offense.\n(d) In the case of automobile graveyards established prior to March 26, 1965, the owners or operators of the automobile graveyard shall have a reasonable and necessary period of time in which to comply with this part.","path":["TN Code","Title 54","Chapter 20"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"2598af73fa00bd406be4c14c0b0e7d002f166587c08683703cb61986999ea6cd","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-54-20-204","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-54-21-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
