Code Ann. § 55-17-406","heading":"Biennial license fees - Penalty for late renewal","body":"(a) The biennial license fees for licenses issued and renewed under this part shall be set by the commission.\n(b) A penalty of fifty percent (50%) of the amount of the license fee will be assessed on any renewal application postmarked after the expiration date of the license.\n(c) No renewal application will be accepted more than ninety (90) days after the expiration date of a license.\n(d) Notwithstanding § 55-17-413 , all revenue resulting from fees, penalties, or interest shall be allocated to the commission.","path":["TN Code","Title 55","Chapter 17"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"a5f25093faf140490c419f337cc68944a12c8e44e64bd0f03e930fa1e82258d5","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-55-17-405","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-55-17-407"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
