Code Ann. § 55-50-353","heading":"Sexual, violent sexual, violent juvenile sexual offender identification - Human trafficker identification","body":"(a) When the department issues or renews a driver license or photo identification card to a sexual offender, violent sexual offender or violent juvenile sexual offender as required by § 40-39-213 , the driver license or photo identification card shall bear a designation sufficient to enable a law enforcement officer to identify the bearer of the license or card as a sexual offender, violent sexual offender or violent juvenile sexual offender.\n(b) When the department issues or renews a driver license or photo identification license to a person convicted of a human trafficking offense, as defined in § 39-13-314 , the driver license or photo identification license must bear a designation sufficient to enable a law enforcement officer to identify the bearer of the license as a person who has been convicted of a human trafficking offense.","path":["TN Code","Title 55","Chapter 50"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"81de2e0436f8d8051338677156a4361c4de7618ab1a25dc4df637c2c56884fe2","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-55-50-352","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-55-50-354"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
