Code Ann. § 55-8-107","heading":"Persons working on highways - Exceptions","body":"Unless specifically made applicable, the provisions of this chapter and chapter 10, parts 1-5 of this title, except those contained in § 55-10-205 , shall not apply to persons, teams, motor vehicles and other equipment while actually engaged in work upon the surface of a highway or the adjacent right-of-way, but shall apply to these persons and vehicles when traveling to or from such work.
