Code Ann. § 56-5-118","heading":"Review of commissioner's orders","body":"Review of any order issued by the commissioner shall be in accordance with the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5. Where the order of the commissioner results in an increase or decrease in rates, any insurer affected by the increase or decrease may, with leave of court, pending final disposition of the proceedings in the chancery court, continue to charge rates that were obtained prior to the order of decrease, or may charge rates resulting from the order of increase on condition that the difference in the premiums be deposited in a special account by the insurer or paid to the holders of policies issued after the order of the commissioner, as the court may determine.","path":["TN Code","Title 56","Chapter 5"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"b80d10dda7ec8663e84a84e6109f9f03385b2798b7e13581cd3888ebc1103fe7","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-56-5-117","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-56-5-119"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
